Kinston Lee Rushing hails from the heart of North Carolina. Even as a child, he had nurtured his passion for flowers in his grandmother's garden and worked as a freelance florist in his teens for local country club and hotels.

After studying Horticulture at Central Piedmont Community College and North Carolina State University, Kinston moved to the Big Apple in the early 1990s and carved a career in the hospitality business. He also lived in Miami, Florida for a period of time and traveled throughout Asia extensively.

Recently, a wonderful opportunity to work in the floral industry presented itself and Kinston found his passion for flowers reignited. Since the beginning of 2007, he had built a small and emerging business by creating beautiful and dramatic floral arrangements for several restaurants in Manhattan, and corporate and social events in and out of New York City.

Kinston had always relished the idea of owning his own flower shop in Manhattan some day. For now, he is living his dream and striving for excellence and refinement with every petal he puts in place.
