Kinston Lee Rushing hails from the heart of North Carolina. As a child, he nurtured his passion for flowers in his grandmother's garden and later, in his teen years, worked as a florist for a local country club and hotels. After studying Horticulture at Central Piedmont Community College and North Carolina State University, Kinston moved to the Big Apple for a career in the hospitality business. He also lived in Miami and traveled throughout Asia.

An opportunity to work in the floral industry presented itself and Kinston found his passion for flowers reignited. Since early 2007, he has built a business creating floral arrangements for restaurants, corporate and social events around New York City.
